Lopey Cams waste power and fuel as well as increase emissions. This is a great grind for the street or a truck that gives you a smooth idle and good vacuum. You can use it with stock valve springs, but I would spend the extra $50 and upgrade those just to be on the safe side. I've built 3 motors with this bump stick that produce lots of low and midrange torque with decent fuel mileage. It even works well with TBI heads and a carb. Be sure to use ZDDP and follow the break-in instructions and you'll be just fine...
